My Favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Mclaughlin, the advanced English and TAG teacher at my school, Huntington Middle School. His classes don’t pile up a log of homework, just the routine projects and some rare work. He has helped me a lot with my high school class planning, partially because I will be taking trigonometry next. year. So his efforts has helped me get all of my classes in order. Also, he has been a great help around the school, even though he does “enrich” our assignments from other classes. So, I guess he has influenced my life a bit, from going over grammar in class to helping me with next year’s schedule, he has been a great help.
He also has helped coordinate my online math classes this year. With his efforts, I was able to successfully complete Geometry Honors and receive an A for the grade. I am also working on the 2nd segment of Algebra II Honors. Even though it’s summer, he still answers questions related to the class, such as the deadline to finish, or other technical questions.
Finally, with all the competitions I’ve been in, he has helped coordinate them, from the Regional Spelling Bee to the State Math field Day, he has helped attain study materials for me. So all in all, he has somewhat impacted and influenced my life, so he would be my favorite teacher. Additionally, he would recommend books to me and make some jokes that sent some people laughing and others staring blankly. I have to say he has a good teaching strategy, and gets his message though, not with tons of work, but with class discussions and creative projects. He was the person that if I had a technical problem during school, I could contact and fix the problem. That is why I think he is my favorite teacher.
